a beautiful print

 So how gorgeous is this print already? Yes I know your loving it as much as I am! The print trend is one of my favourite's this year because you can go as bright, bold or subtle as you like so its always completely up to you want kind of print you want! On the #Look3 on my Denim Shirts post which can be seen here I am also wearing a print dress, yet the print is much heavier and a lot bolder, more African colour's whereas this top has a more more elegant print showing as it has such lovely colours!

There is also matching trousers for this top- not sure if i would go that far but hey ho some people may. I chose to wear black detailed shorts and black tights to match this look. I wanted to keep the rest of the outfit quite plain so that the top could really stand out. But seriously how gorgeous are the prints on this top I can't stop staring at them, they are just so pretty!! I also finally bought the matte top coat from Rimmel- its amazing! I've always wanted to try the 'black nails' look so finally i got it, most things are on 3 for 2 at the minute from boots so of course i have 3 brand new nail polish's yayyy! Black matte is definitely my favourite nail colour now( It was red last week ) and i still do love having red nails but I'm just dreading taking these of for school tomorrow, ok maybe i could keep my hands in my pockets all day? Yes my schools is stupidly annoying and no nail varnish is allowed!! Its suppose to be 19 degrees today- I don't see any sun yet.

black, black, and oh black

My second outfit post in a week, gosh this is going well! Btw these photos were taken off my new brothers camera, i hope you can all see the different from my previous photos, except in these i don't like my hair, its too flat and i prefer is more wavy :(

ANYWAYYY I choose this outfit for my friends birthday as we were all going out for a meal :-) I'v officially decided i have no nice going out clothes hence this is my mums top and its erm a bit to big for me, well actually a lot too big for me so i put a belt around the peplum bit and it didn't look too bad(i hope.) I choose my black leather look trousers, my leather jacket and some gorgeous berry coloured shoes to try and  brighten up my outfit since I'm all in black :( Yes so as i was saying.. no going out clothes! They're all like baggy tops and jumpers or shorts(with tights of course) cause that's the kind of look i like, so when it comes to like a meal or something I'm usually stuck! But I'm going Christmas shopping tomorrow with my friends so hopefully i see a few things i like.. with the little money i have hahahaha!

Hope you're all ok and coping with the horrible freezing weather were having here in Sheffield :(

green and speckled

Finally an outfit post! So proud i have actually finally done one; it seems like sooooo long :( I got this cute little dress from topshop a few weeks ago but have struggled to wear it as seriously, what is the weather doing? Its rainy, windy, cold and wet.. just hurry up and snow then we all have a great excuse to go out in joggers and hoodies!

It was my brothers birthday this weekend so we went out for a meal and i wanted to wear something nice, not too dressy as it was only a Indian and not be freezing at the same time! I decided to go with this little dress and some tights of course, my creepers are a must at the moment (I'm so in love with them) and my leather jacket! I think my necklace( well should i say my mums) finished the outfit off great! The gold, black and silver circles on it matched the green soo well and really made the neck line stand out :-) My brother got a camera for his birthday so my photos will finally be of good quality as yes I'll be stealing it from him mwahaha!

'the teenage rush' she said

So last night i was lucky enough to be @ 'The killers' concert and omg let me tell you it was AMAZING! If they ever tour again I'm defiantly getting tickets! I love their songs soooo much and Brandon Flowers.. hes hot ain't he ;-)
For it i wore my new black dress from Zara dressed down with creepers and black lace socks, I'm actually totally inlove with my new dress, its so hard to find dresses what actually fit because im only 5'2'' so they are always so long! I decided not to wear heels because i was going to be stood up all night and my feet would have been killing! I was actually surprised when i got there as not many people had dressed up much it was mostly jeans, shorts or little dresses, not many heels at all.
Hope you enjoy the photos although they are not the best as my camera is awful! It just never focus' right anymore so I'm really hoping to get a new one for Christmas, until then please try and put up with them :( Has anyone else been to see The Killers?

breathing in london air..

Hi guys! Hope you're all not to sad about being back at school/college or where ever :( For the half term holidays i was busy shopping in london with my Aunty and i loved it! London is just like my favourite place ever and I'm in a constant good mood whilst there; not like in cold,wet and windy Sheffield :( I wanted to tell you all what i bought whilst there as some of the things were such bargains!!

 

 

 

 

So the first thing i bought was this 'BOY LONDON' jumper which i am now obsessed with! I am so glad i bought it cause I'm always freezing when i go out because i haven't got many winter clothes yet but this goes perfectly with everything, and it was only £11! I then got this oxford uni jumper which i also love!!! I practically live in it at home because its all fluffy inside and again that was a bargain at £15! In camden i also got my lovely little baker street keyring which i adore.

We the got on the tube and off to oxford circus we went! Now lets get things straight.. THE TOPSHOP IS HUGGGEEEE! There was a map as soon as you walked in just so you could find your way around and it has 3 floors and the petite section is amazing and there is soo much make up and gifts which were so cute! I was walking round for ages picking up things i wanted to try on and in the end i got this gorgeous little tee dress in dark green with little speckles in the fabric, i love this dress i think its great for winter with tights and a leather jacket! I also got a new winter coat which I'm so in love with, i much prefer this one because of the checks on the back and it also has a black jersey hood.. I'm glad i got this one instead of the all karki green one because not many people have it.. YET! I also picked up a halloween coloured nail varnish!
The next day we went to Westfield Shopping at Stratford and i ended up getting a gorgeous LBD from Zara which i will be wearing to the killers tomorrow.. SO EXCITED! I also got the new Vaseline 'pink bubbly'. Although i cant exactly taste the pink bubbly as it just tastes and smells pretty much like normal Vaseline the tin is just so cute so i had to buy it.. of course!

And now that's everything.. all my purchases from london, which ones your fave?;)

creepy or what..

Yayyy new shoes finally!! I've been in desperate need of a pair of winter shoes and I'd been looking at these on ebay for a while but couldn't decide whether i liked them or not:/ are you a creepers girl?  Anyway i then when shopping on Saturday and saw these in office for £25! not bad in all honestly so i though I'd try them on and in actual fact i really like them, because I'm only a size 3.. yes i know i have small feet, they didn't look overly massive and the sole isn't actually that thick which i like.
So of course after i buy them i'm going to NEED some socks to go with them duhhhh.. and this is where my shopping habit gets worse, so off to topshop i got for some cute black little frilly socks. Ermm well i cant actually remember how much they were like 3 pounds or something but if you want them just look on topshop socks, to be fair though I'm pretty sure most girls will have these anyway as they came out a while ago.
Now i've not actually worn these out yet but going to this fashion conference at Meadowhall tomorrow, not sure what it is yet but i am super excited so look out for an outfit post and some photos :) Also they do actually do these creepers on ebay for around £15 if you want some so I'd recommend you try there first :)
So that's 1 pair of shoes for my A/W shoe collection, I'm still on the hunt for a gorgeous pair of little brown ankle boots if any of you know where they do some? please let me know :)
Ohhhhh 1 last thing, I tried to make my title 'creepy or what' slightly halloweeny to get you in the mooooood! woooo hope you all have your outfits ready!!

lovin' braces

 

Up, down, one up one down? I'm now officially in love with my new braces!
I cant even remember what got me wanting some braces but the other day i had a look on eBay and these just ended up in my basket with out me even knowing *hmfh* but I'm soooo glad i got them! They only took like 2 days to arrive so i couldn't wait to try them out!
I've not actually been out the house today (seriously all i do Sunday is sit in bed) but when i finally moved i thought I'd put this outfit on to show you guys :-)
I paired them with my new favourite pair of shorts from Topshop, a white speckled tee, also from topshop and my little frilly socks from primark! I actually can't wait to wear this outfit shopping but first i want some of those socks, right... there like cream knee high socks and they have a few blue stripes around the top? PLEASE LET ME KNOW IF YOU KNOW WHERE I CAN BUY THEM? I'v never even seen them before but someone had them on in a photo of twitter and now i really need some :(
Also I'm like struggling a bit, do i wear the braces up? down? or one up one down? I'm thinking one up one down but ahhhh what do you all think?

Winter coats!

As the weather man says the cold weather has arrived *sad face*! I'm really not the one for winter at all, unless it snows, i love snow but when its just cold,wet and windy I'd rather be snuggled up in bed watching films all day!
Iv been sorting through my wardrobe pretty much all day and found out my 2 lovely winter coats for the cold months!

 

 

Coat- Miss Selfridge!
I bought this beauty at the start of the year when i didn't even own a jacket(i must say I'm really not a jacket person) but since then i haven't worn it much as the weather hasn't been to bad. I really love the coat, and its my FAVOURITE ever colour KARKI GREEN! Seriously you give me anything that colour and i will love you forever! Karki green is defiantly one for this season and I'm so glad i bought this coat! Its also really warm and the bottom has tie where you can make it looser or tighter! It also has HUGE pockets which are very useful! All in all i cant wait to start wearing this again!

 

Leather Jacket- Topshop

When i first saw this in topshop i instantly fell in love! I love the studs on the collar and shoulder! Now i know practically everything in every shop is studded but i love this so much! Because of the colour you can pair it with pretty much anything and its also quite warm just to be shopping it! I was a bit unsure of the price tag at first £65! But now I'm so glad i got it as it will defiantly get its wear! Have you got your winter coats for this season? Are you feeling the cold already?:(

Denim, Karki&Burgundy

If you haven't been able to tell already these are my 3 most absolute favourite colours this season! I fell in love with the colour 'karki green' along time ago and now topshop is full of it! Yayyyy! I LOVE the 2 jackets and when i tried them both on in topshop i seriously could not decide which one i like the most. The leather sleeved one looks gorgeous on but then i love that on the all karki one you can roll up the sleeves and i love the collar it has too. Which one do you prefer?
The green puplum is also a favourite of mine from topshop yet when ever i go in they never seem to have my size *sad face*
The green shirt is just amazing. And even better they do it in petite so i may as well just buy it, it was practically made for me! I love the material its made in and the studs around the collar are adorable. It also has a baggy effect which i love at the moment; Print/textured leggins and a baggy tee/shirt OMG JUST SO AMAZING!
The hair band is like for a snowy day where you're chillin in your sweatpants and hoodie, hair up in a messy bun and then this cute little headband which i love! The colours and patterns of it are so winter'y and would look really nice with my blonde hair i think :)
The dress is basically just a dress. Its only £20 though so why not? I really love the colour and you can dress it up or down depending on where you're off out to so i think this would be a good all round piece in my wardrobe.
Finally the denim shirt! I adore the sleeves and think this is why i chose this shirt out from the rest! The lighter colours like cream and blue go lovely with the karki green colour i think so of course i would HAVE to buy them both as its like an outfit all in 1! In fact i think i may as well just buy this whole wish list, its all perfect for winter and i love everything on it. Hopefully some money just appears in my purse, or we win the lottery, or topshop just very kindly give them to me for being such a great customer anyway tehehe!

MEADOWHALL LOCK IN! caitlin are you shopping again?!

Ahhhhhh hi everyone! I'm so excited about this post today as i still cant believe it my self, so yesterday evening at meadowhall(shopping centre in Sheffield if you didn't know) had a student lock down between 7-10 which basically means you get discount off hundreds of shops, and at the same time its like a massive party in meadowhall, its so amazing i loved it! At topshop theres 20% off everything so of course that's the very first place me and my friend went!  
As i only came to meadowhall with £30 and £8 on my card i was kind of limited but i was deffo taking advantage of the 20% off so i though ill just buy the 'karki green peplum top' from topshop because that's the only thing i 'need' and i wont resist to anything else. But of course that didn't happen cause as soon as i walked in the shop these shorts just like flew at me; no idea where they came from but there they was.. in my hand and i defiantly wasn't letting go of them, it was like fate! I then took a while looking round topshop and tbh it was really weird, all these clothes were ending up in my hands and i have no idea how?! I found this lovely denim shirt, this cute little cream speckled tee, a lovely little bralet, and of course the green peplum top(which i originally came for) all in my hands! Off to the changing rooms i went...

Now I'm thinking i only have £30 and i seriously want the shorts as I'm still yet to own a pair of 'MOTO topshop shorts' so i ask the assistant how much they are because they didn't have a tag and she said £32! omg dilemma dilemma! I can afford them with student discount but what about the green top i want?:( and i really wanted the cream speckled one to because I've had this fab idea to sew some cute badges onto the bottom corner of it! OMG ahhhhhh! Hmm well if i get the shorts and cream speckled top it comes to £36.80 with my student discout because the tops only £14! So i can pay £30 in cash and the £6.80 on my card; but then i don't have enough for my dinner, ohh well i don't mind missing food for clothes! Anyway about the green top it was a size 10 and fitted ok but, well lets face it any girl would feel happier with a size 8 in the back of their top even if no one knew so ill just save up for that another time. Right yes I'm sorted!
So off to the till i go and as I'm waiting theres all the lovely little nail varnish's sat staring at me :( NO CAITLIN CONTROL YOUR SELF(another thing I'm now saving up for)! So anyway she scans the top and types in the bar code for the shorts, i show her my student discount and she then says '£16.80 please' I'M LIKE WHAAA?' shes like £16.80, so I'm like well okay!!!
I pay her with like the hugest grin of my face ever and then walk away and look at the receipt, The shorts came up for £7.. yes £7! I COULD NOT BELIEVE IT!
I was soooo happy i mean £16.80 for a top and shorts, wahooooo I'm no longer in debt :)
The lovely lady also gave my this adorable topshop tote bag which i love to pieces, its so cute!

I also got a cute topshop carrier bag which makes a change from the white and red ones, and i still have my pink meadowhall lock in wrist band on as i think its giving me luck! Ill be keeping it on for a while :)
Look out for lots of outfit posts, and maybe a DIY for my speckled top if i can find some badges and hopefully the green karki peplum top will be mine soon, teheheheh I'm shopping obsessed!
