tie that denim shirt

 I love these kind of outfits.. shorts, top and a shirt around my waist has been a favorite of mine this 'summer'. I mean I'm sure I used to wrap my jacket around my waist when I was about 5 but my young style has returned to me and I love it.

This has probably been my most worn outfit this summer and also one of my favourites. I got the top a while back in Topshop but have never really worn it till now; once I paired it with my black shorts( I got these in the sale for a tenner when I was on a spending ban opps) and denim jacket I liked it a whole lot more than when I first bought it hahaha the joys of shopping. Now please don't get me started on my new sandals because I could probably right 4 paragraphs on how much I love them but I wont as you can all see in the photos how gorgeous they are.. yes they are gorgeous ok! I got them just before I went on holiday from Zara in the sale for £30.. I know £30 shouldn't even be classed as a sale price but I did pretty much wear them every evening on my holiday (I really have no holiday/summer shoes) so that makes them about £2 per wear and I'll be wearing them a whole lot more! I lack on the whole shoe game thing, the list of shoes I want it endless but I always end up buying clothes instead and then the list of shoes I want gets longer! 

The suns been shinning today so I've had a lovely day doing nothing- I still have post holiday depression! See ya soon!

lace biker shorts

Do you notice anything strange? Better quality blog photos.. I know I know such a rare thing to happen on this blog but I think (touch wood) I finally have my camera work properly! Woooo!! I was testing around with the different settings and the photo sizes and have set them to 600 pixels wide, what do you guys have you width pixels set on? I just took a guess really haha!

Ok so onto my outfit, how cut are these lace short things? I was just sat making a mental list of the many clothes I would like to buy and thought ok if I'm going to sit here and make this mental list then does this mean I can buy an item afterwards? Yes that's what it clearly meant. So I decided to start at the top of my list and buy some lace biker shorts (I don't actually know if this is what they are even called but I decided it was an appropriate name) I just googled and looked on images and found hundreds of people selling them but I only wanted a cheap pair so found these for a fiver! Not bad at all, although I would have got the next size up as they are quite tight(they only had smalls) but for a starter pair they are fab and I will probably end up buying some more very very soon. I've seen the 'Celine Paris' tees floating about the blogging world for a while now so about a month ago ordered my self one( I think it was from china so took a while to come)! I think they are great casual little tees to wear with denim shorts in my case and  the cost per wear will probably end up being really low- possibly around 50p which is a huge massive bargain and you know me.. I love a good bargain! 

Sheffield is finally sunny(well was on Saturday when I took these photos) which has put me in  a much better mood although I have been sat in bed since Sunday feeling sleepy, poorly and sorry for my self *sympathy please*

company high street edit- my favourites

So I read fashion magazines every week and though why not share my favourite pieces from each one with you guys? I know right, why didn't I think of this sooner? I bought the company street style edit around Christmas time and absolutely loved it- like the best mag i have ever read, so when i found out the high street edit was on the shelves I had to get it straight away! Company is my fave my favourite fashion magazine out there by far so though I'd start of with this mag! I love the style in which they do things and the front covers are always gorgeous! So yeah just a few fashion snaps for you to enjoy!

Denim shirt #Look1

I'm actually blogging!! It’s pretty much a miracle right? But no I am definitely going to get back into the spirit of blogging and blog a lot more often because its something which I love doing! 

I adore my denim shirt at the minute, like literally it goes with EVERYTHING, so I’ve decided to do a little piece on 3 different ways to wear it! The sun was out yesterday so I whacked out my new shorts (£9 in the sale) and this cute little grey tee, it has a gorgeous dark coloured cotton racer back, which I did take some pictures off but they didn't come out too well. This is a very causal look, not too much effort but it was great for sitting out in the sun yesterday. 

Now I have this thing for red nails at the moment- I’m like obsessed I just love them, I also love all my gold rings, I really hope I’m not turning chavy but I think there is something about the red and gold hand accessories which I think looks good? I don’t know I’m I going crazy? 

Also my hair isn’t looking too good recently, its it rubbish condition so I’m basically using no heat at all hence the frizzy all over the place look, but I'm having it done on Wednesday and I bought some hair masks today so hopefully it will be looking better soon!

How cool is my new jumper? I say new but I got it when I went down to London the other week, don't worry I haven't broke my spending ban(well actually I have) but not on this jumper as I was allowed to shop for the ONE day I went to London, yes my shopping life is sad :(! Yeah this jumper was a bit pricey at £45 but I don't really mind cause its so fit. It has these super cool cut outs on the elbows and chest and then white and black airtex mesh fabric- which I love. This is my new favourite piece for the 'Sports Wear' trend this season and i can wait to wear it more often!! And also you should all check out 'The Ragged Preist' clothing in Topshop.. ITS GORGEOUS I WANT IT ALL! The shorts are new too, I bought them about 5 days into my spending ban, no idea why i though it was a good idea to do some window shopping in Topshop but then I saw these beautys in the sale for £9.. £9!!! Iv been wanting just some black shorts for ages but was going to wait till summer to buy some but of course if there's some on sale(with black lace detail as well) I am obviously going to buy them, I felt bad of course, but then I though ACTUALLY NO... I've just saved my self like £27 because I was going to buy some black shorts in a few months anyway and by that time the full prices would have been back at like £36!

One more quick question... I love DIY'ing all my clothes and turning my old clothes into pieces which match the seasons trend so i though why not start selling some of my best pieces to you guys? I have some really good ideas in mind so if you would be interested in seeing them let me know and i might do some selling :)

I haven't blogged in sooooo long, sorry guys, Iv'e had so much stupid school work to do and busy weekends, but i'm back and here is my outfit!

Because I find it so hard to find the time for other people to take photos for me I've decided I am just going to do it like this, which means I can post loads more outfit photos yayyy!!

I got this jumper when I went down to London for the LFWend, the Topshop their is amazing so I felt I needed to buy something: even if I am on a spending ban, which is going well? I think? I think not. But anyway i'm in love with this jumper, and I needed a new jumper anyway it is winter? Duh. I love the monochrome trend so this jumper is pretty perfect but the weather may need to warm up before I can wear shorts out again, or i'll just wear tights, actually i have some of those fleece tights which will do fine! Seriously guys get your self down to primark and get some of their fleece tights, they keep your legs so warm!

The shorts I've had for agesss, I got them for something like 7 pounds, no idea how but Topshop for 7£ you would never believe it and finally my beloved creepers, yes I love them. Also ignore my hair in these pics, it needs doing so bad and i just can't be bothered with it at the minute!

slits and spikes

Yes i bought a new top, and necklace, but it only cost me £20 all together AND i did buy this a few weeks ago so don't worry i haven't broken my lent promise.. yet!

 I actually really like the top, very basic i know but i'm soooooo in love with the sports wear trend this season and i think the slits down the side of this top are, very sporty, so now i just need some trousers, shoes maybe a bag and a jacket so go with it to complete the look, but i have to wait 40 days *sad sad face* and i don't have that much money :( 

The necklace was only a fiver TOTAL BARGAIN and iv probably worn it like 5 times so it really only cost £1 per wear, see thinking positive, I've started doing this with all my clothes hahaha! 

Finally its half term wooooo!! I have 4 maths papers to do which it just like omg, but i have maths exams the first week back so hopefully it will all pay off... yes a day of revision is needed, on a saturday as well, what has life come to?

big leather pockets

I luurrrrve these zara trousers, although these photos just don't do them justice! Seriously they look much better in person, my camera wouldn't capture the print or texture of them and its supposed to be one of the best ones? Yep i just can't get it to work for me :( Anyway the trousers.. i actually got them in the January sales believe it or not for something like £22. I wasn't even going to buy the top but i wanted something to try them on with and well the top just seemed to match great, so i bought it for a tenner! I didn't even used to like the tops with the cut out shoulders but after buying this one i have taken a liking to them! I think they have quite a sporty style to them which is defiantly me as i love sports! What do you think of this outfit? :-) 
In all honestly though i just cant wait for it to be summer again, i much prefer summer outfits!!
